When it comes to overall health, it takes all three – nutrition, fitness, and emotional health. You can’t really have one without the others.
You also need to get serious about setting meaningful health goals. Without goals, you WILL likely fail. Don’t believe me? Think of New Years resolutions – about 80% fail by February. Why? Because the goals, while well-intentioned, are not meaningful.
But you’re not alone. Not at all, in fact. By taking advantage of our FREE White Belt member status, we will help you develop goals that lead to a healthier, happy & fit version of you. One word of caution to start with – this isn’t a “get fit quick” program. We use a progressive program that advances from stability (think balance) to increasing strength to increasing power. Depending on your starting point (and yes, we help you figure that out), it’ll take about 4 weeks to progress through the stability phase. Then another 4 weeks to progress through the strength-endurance phase.
How do we know this works? First and foremost, it’s completely based on research and science. The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) fine-tuned this progressive program so that it applies to everyone interested in improving their physical health. This is the method they teach their certified personal trainers (the most common certification you will find).
Second, we employed this during the pandemic to test it out. We saw our balance, strength, stability, flexibility, and agility improve – and not just a little bit. Significant improvements.

Hi, I'm Kirby Chapman, creator of "The Healthy League" website
My goal is to help you transform yourself into the person you want to be – physically, emotionally, and nutritionally. I’ve been researching biomechanical science for over 10 year, am a personal trainer certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and am a Black Belt in Taekwondo certified by World Taekwondo.
And unfortunately there is a LOT of inaccurate information out there. And the plethora of inaccurate information leads thousands of people down the road path every day. I weed out the snake oil stuff that drives us nuts – if it’s not backed by science, I’ll tell you that.
The ONLY recommended content on this site passes muster with organizations like NASM. That gives you confidence that the plans and programs described on the site will work to help you reach your fitness and health goals.
The techniques I teach will help you succeed. And I’ve specifically developed programs that do NOT require a ton of workout equipment. You can do anything on this site in the comfort of your own home!

There are three options with each routine. Each routine focuses on a specific topic, such as creating endurance, increasing strength, becoming more flexible, stabilizing our balance, and improving agility (one of the biggest reasons for falls!). Each routine, then, has three levels of difficulty – beginner, intermediate, and power. Based on your current ability, you will quickly figure out which level is right for you. If you find that you can only handle the beginner level, that’s perfectly fine – we were all there at some point!
First, these aren’t really meal plans. We help you figure out your macronutrient needs (protein, carbs, and fats) based on your goals. Then you simply pick and choose common food items to satisfy those needs. And of course, we provide recipes that we use ourselves!
Of course not. Meditation is simply one of the tools we discuss that helps calm your mind and reduce stress. There are a number of others, including your nutrition. The goal here is to eliminate chronic stress – that kills us.
The Facebook group for the The Healthy League is a forum for members to ask questions and solicit feedback, as well as offer inspiration to others (and they will offer inspiration to you!). It’s basically a moderated chat room.
